Stronghold: after about 2 hours of game play, the game (or computer) would freeze up and I would get a blue screen. On a side note, Stronghold and Crusader have worked perfectly for me except for the following instances: I have tried missions dozens of ways to ultimately find out it was a wrong tactic and end up losing. If anybody can help it would be much appreciated. I am stuck at about mission 25 and have used all my chickens. All my cheats worked on Stronghold but I cant get them, the few that they are, to work on Crusader. (Note: Make sure there are no enemies outside of the castle, or else they will probably come and destroy your oxen tethers.I have the same problem. When your army is built up, you can just waltz over and wipe the whole castle off the map. The small army will be trapped inside their own walls awaiting your arrival. Soon there will be no food and the peasants will leave the castle. Also, the gatehouse(s) you blocked might spontaneously crumble after a while. Your enemy's buildings outside of the castle will spontaneously crumble because the workers can't get back inside the castle. The ground troops will walk to the gatehouse to destroy them but they can't get through, so they just walk back to their spot. Immediately put the Oxen Tethers to sleep. Place 1 or 2 of them right outside the gatehouse(s) of your enemy's castle, but make sure their keep is enclosed first. Take a small building such as an Oxen Tether. This is based on Windows XP and it might not be the same on Windows 98. Note: Be aware that you can't change the file back to its original voice unless you reinstall the game.
